Because fleas are so problematic, flea prevention is essential! Commonly prescribed preventives include oral and topical medications—although injectable flea prevention is available, as well.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I'm not sure what your budget is but I like Droncit or Cestex which only get tapeworms. I like Drontal Plus because it gets tapeworm and other worms as well. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=3464 I hope this helps!

The type of dewormer depends on the intestinal parasite. If you post or describe the parasite I might be able to help you further. Check this product if Cristoph has roundworms: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/excel-roundworm-cat-de-wormer?rrec=true or this one if he has tapeworm: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/bayer-tapeworm-dewormer-tablets-for-cats?rrec=true Please refer to your vet or post again if you have any doubt, question or you are not sure regarding the amount to administer. Please make sure is the correct product for his size and age. I hope this answer was helpful.

The Advantage Multi and Drontal contain different ingredients that do not negatively interact in the body, so they are safe to give together. Drontal usually comes in a size-specific bottle for cats and will have the recommended dosage labeled on the side. I recommend only using the Drontal as stated by the manufacturer. A link to their website is below: https://www.bayerdvm.com/show.aspx/productdetail/drontal-tablets When it comes to treating for parasites, it's always best to do so in consultation with your veterinarian. A vet can easily test for the type of parasites present and will be able to give you the best treatment options and prevention advice for the future. They can also make sure that you are not giving medication unnecessarily, or in a potentially dangerous way. I hope that helps and all is well with Jet.

Feli D tablets seem to contain praziquantel and pyrantel pamoate, both of which should be safe to use in a nursing queen. The kittens are actually old enough to be dewormed as well if necessary, but you may need to use a different product since they are small.

Hello and welcome to Boop by Petco. There are many over the counter products available in pet stores in the U.S. that are good dewormers. Milbemax, Revolution, Drontal, Strongid, Panacur, are some examples. I recommend calling your local vet to ask which products are most efficacious and available in your area, and you can get them from the store. For feral cats, the biggest problem is getting the medication into them, so you can talk with your vet about pills vs. liquids. If you are feeding them then a tablet in the food might work, but only if you are feeding them separately. Best of luck with the kitties!
