I planned on getting an oatmeal and aloe shampoo for Precious. Would that be good or is there a better shampoo I can get for her breed?
Oatmeal shampoo is a great shampoo for dogs. I would recommend using this. I don't know what type of breed she is but this shampoo is good for any breed. I would just make sure it is for dogs, since human shampoo can dry out a dogs skin. Thank you for using Boop by Petco.

Por favor perdona cualquier mal español! Si las alergias están bajo control con medicamentos, una simple avena o champú de aloe vera puede ayudar con la piel seca y la caspa. La vitamina E y el aceite de pescado también pueden administrarse para ayudar a la piel y al pelaje. Si se bañan con más frecuencia que cada tres semanas, también podría resecar la piel y causar el olor. Las toallitas húmedas para mascotas / toallitas para bebés entre baños pueden ayudar a mantener la capa limpia sin resecarla. Si el olor continúa incluso con champús comunes, es mejor hablar con su veterinario para detectar infecciones / levaduras que pueden necesitar un champú medicado para tratar.

How frequently to bathe your dog will depend on their skin/coat and if they have any medical conditions. In general we don't recommend bathing more than every 2 weeks unless there is a medical reason or the dog is getting excessively dirty. A mild shampoo such as a colloidal oatmeal shampoo and creme rinse like the Epi-soothe line is a great product, or you can see what products your vet carries for general bathing.

I tried 2-3 types(including some antidandruff ones) of shampoo but dandruff seems to come again after his bath, also the dandruff is specific to particular spots and it only at some spots on his back. He is a good boy any help is appreciated.
Hi there! I often recommend a nice, soothing oatmeal shampoo for dogs. And you can add some omega 3 fatty acid supplements to the food! Try the shampoo for a few weeks, and if it's not improving, Jackie should see his veterinarian to see if he needs some prescription strength shampoo and/or conditioning spray and/or oral medications.
