Hello and thank you for using Boop by Petco. Unfortunately, when I try to enlarge the photo, it is too pixilated to see the fine print and learn what it is. I would recommend to compare the ingredients. If it's a dusk free bedding, it's likely fine to use it. Please write again if you have any questions!

Hi! Hamsters can make great pets if they are socialized and handled gently. A standard hamster cage with a wheel, tunnels, a hide box, some soft bedding in which to burrow (like carefresh), fresh food and water are the basic needs of any pet hamster. If you want, you can add a network of tunnels to provide more exercise and enrichment opportunities. Hamsters can get sick and should only be fed hamster specific food items to decrease the chances of tooth and gastrointestinal problems. It’s also a good idea to take your new pet to the vet shortly after you get them so you have a baseline of health and have an established relationship with a vet in the event your hamster does become ill. Good luck!

Hello, and thanks for using Boop by Petco. There are lots of reasons why a snake might go on a hunger strike, but it sounds like you've narrowed it down to a food preference. Rats are a bit more nutritious and ideally preferable over mice, but mice are also a perfectly acceptable option. Some snakes simply prefer them, in which case you are welcome to keep feeding Luminescence mice, and depending on her size she may simply need multiple mice per feeding as she grows. If you want to encourage her to switch to rats, you can try rubbing a dead mouse or mouse bedding on the rat prior to offering it, to give the rat a more familiar scent. Keep trying - but don't stress if the end result is she ends up staying on mice. Hope this helps!

Oxbow, Mazuri and Kaytee all make excellent rat chow. Being omnivorous, they can eat almost anything. They should eat mainly a pelleted or block diet supplemented with fresh fruits, greens and vegetables.
