On this website you will be able to type in the medication and dose and it will provide you with coupon codes and the location of where you need to obtain the product. Regardless of what site you use you will still need to obtain a prescription from your veterinarian. I always caution my clients when they are planning to purchase these types of products from pharmacies of unknown origin as we cannot be certain how the drugs are being stored and what source they are obtaining the drugs from. Hello. Yes, there are appetite stimulants that we often give to cats & I am sure your veterinarian is aware of this. Common ones are mirtazapine & cyproheptadine. Cerenia is often used just because it treats nausea, and a newer product called Entyce is being used extra-label in cats ( it is only approved for dogs right now, but the company is working on a cat application). One of the adverse effects with Felimazole is the possibility of loss of appetite. Sometimes discontinuing the medication for a few days & restarting at a lower dose gradually increasing to full dosage is necessary. Hopefully, Dutchess will be feeling better soon. When purchased through a veterinarian the company will most often guarantee the effectiveness. This is usually not the case with products bought online or over the counter. When sold through a veterinarian the company that manufactures the product will stand behind the product and often pay for medical treatment should the product not work for some reason. The veterinarian also knows how to properly store the product so that it does not get damaged or becomes ineffective. Finally, sometimes over the counter products or products sold online can be counterfeit or even dangerous to use. Your veterinarian also knows what particular products tend to be most effective for your location.

You will need to have flavored medications made at a special pharmacy called a compounding pharmacy. Your vet may know of a local compounding pharmacy that may make flavored medications, so I would check with them.
