The original is still the best. There are generic versions, however I found them unreliable. The price difference is not huge, so I suggest you invest in the original Feliway spray from CEVA. Check on line (search for ) "Compare prices for Feliway spray". You can also start leaving out the carrier with the door open, put a nice bed in it and feed her near it at first, moving the food closer and closer and finally feeding her in the carrier. This will also take some anxiety away. When driving in the car, cover the carrier, so the cat cannot look out the window, as this is really scary for a cat as she cannot understand why everything passes her by so fast.

I haven't used Beaphar products before, but just looking at their ingredients, I would probably recommend using their treats for the actual drive because it has 3 different ingredients that may help with stress. If you think that needs to be combined with a longer lasting product, it looks like the collar has both Valerian and lavender, while the spot on only has Valerian. But if your cat is not used to wearing a collar, then she may not tolerate the collar well. I would contact the company to discuss the specifics of your move and ask them for a recommendation. As far as other products to consider to help stranger cats get along, I have a couple suggestions (although the Beaphar products may be very helpful). The goal is to decrease stress between the cats. One option for decreasing stress is to add a Feliway Diffuser ( https://www.feliway.com ) to your house. This is a calming pheromone that will work for a month. Leave the lights on so he can acclimate and see they is no danger. Don't force him to go into the room or near the lights. If and when he does, praise and reward him. Consider a pheromone product such as the Adaptil collar or DAP plug in diffuser to decrease any anxiety.

After one of our indoor cats got outside yesterday for literally a minute, our other cat hisses and growls at him sometimes now. Seems to be scent related, i have wiped doen both cats with unscented baby wipes. We are keeping one cat in our bedroom
You are doing perfectly! The pheromone diffusers work great but it will take a few days to regulate. Be sure you have enough diffusers to treat the appropriate square footage of the house. I can't think of anything else to do other than getting the pheromone spray and not spraying it on the cats but just put some on a cloth and wipe a little on them each. That may help speed things along. You did great - hope they will start to get along again soon! Cats are funny creatures!
