Soak him daily in a warm 50/50 solution of water and unflavored HydraLyte for 20-30 minutes. Gently massage the abdomen, front to back, to stimulate defecation. Check temps in the cage. Low temps can affect appetite and digestion in reptiles. Be sure he is getting sufficient UVB lighting as well as calcium, D3 and vitamin supplementation. If the behavior persists or worsens, have Lord Nelson physically examined by your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating reptiles. A 10 gallon tank can be purchased in the local Petco for less than twenty dollars ( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/fish/fish-aquariums-kits/aquariums-up-to-ten-gallons/aqueon-standard-glass-aquarium-tank-10-gallon ). It would be easier to keep and secure than a laundry hamper. Given the temps required for geckos, plastic may not be the best option either. You will need a a heat lamp for day use and maybe a heat source if nighttime temperatures drop below 70 F. You can use slate, reptile carpet, plain paper towels or a coconut fiber substrate. Thanks for reaching out about Leo. Hibernation is stimulated by winter conditions (cold temperature, decreased food opportunity). If the environmental temperature is still hot, concerns are that she is ill and a veterinary visit is recommended. Intestinal parasites or infections, metabolic disorders and other possibilities exist. Good luck.

He's about due for an upgrade now. These guys require a lot of space, so it's best to provide as much as possible. The requirement is that they have enough room to have a hiding place on both sides of the enclosure with enough room for basking in the middle. If you can achieve this, then that would be best. One of the most reliable sites for beardie care is found at the link below. http://www.anapsid.org/bearded.html You can find additional information here: http://www.reptilesmagazine.com/Care-Sheets/Lizards/Bearded-Dragon/ Provide heat, UVB lighting, water and a balanced diet while she recovers and beyond. Once she is healthy again, acclimate her to your presence slowly then gradually introduce her to handling by holding her for ever increasing periods of time.
