My cat has a skin rash, red spots on its lower back towards its tail. And some fur loss. What can it be?
This looks like flea bite allergic dermatitis. Cats chew and overgroom at the base of their tail and lower back when they have fleas or an itchy flea bite. You can treat Rizer with a topical such as Advantage that will kill the fleas. Also combing with a flea comb will remove them and help get rid of the dead fur so new fur will grow in. The wax from a candle warmer is probably not hot enough to cause serious burns. You can try combing or brushing out the wax, or bathing and using a human hair conditioner to break up the wax. Otherwise, you can let it fall out as Sweetums sheds hair or use hair clippers (NOT SCISSORS) to cut the hair that contains the wax.

I have recently adopted my friends cat. He wore a harness all the time before I got him and now has mattscunder his arms. How can I remove them or fix this issue.
Poor kitty. You can gently tease the mats apart with your fingers, basically make them smaller and then they will come out easily. If you cannot do this without hurting your kitty, then have the vet or a groomer shave them out. No more harness for Milo!
