Is it ok to switch flavors of treats routinely? Like every month, when the bag runs out? Or should she be on the same flavor of treats as well? Why or why not? for example right now she's on a duck food. I have duck treats, bison treats, salmon treat
As long as your pet does not suffer from allergies, it is absolutely fine to switch flavors if you want to, some dogs will prefer the change, others will like the same flavor every time, it is very individual.

Hello and thank you for your post on Boop by Petco! I like to use Tricky Trainers because they are grain free and are only 4kcal/treat. They also smell amazing to dogs and seem to be quite tasty to them. You can purchase these at any major pet supplies store. I hope this helps!

My vet told me that my dog dove has to be on low fat food and treats. But they didnt give us a list of what treats are low in fat or under what precentage of fat they have to be to be safe to give my dog. Is there any way i could get some suggestions
If Dove has to receive low fat treats, I would recommend staying away from the commercial stuff in general. While there are likely some commericially available treats out there marketed as more tolerable, you should think about using things like fruits and vegetables, cut up into small pieces to give your pup. These healthy snacks will make Dove equally as happy, I promise! Some things to consider are carrots, apples, green beans, and even some citrus fruits in certain dog's cases. Hope this makes sense.

Yes, homemade treats are fine. There are plenty of recipes you can find online on how to make homemade treats. All the ingredients you list are OK and there are MANY more. Just google some homemade treat recipes for dogs and go from there. Just be sure you are not feeding too many calories. A lot of treats are not good especially for small breed dogs.
