Ruffwear is generally considered one of the best apparel companies for pets. Otherwise it is all highly variable. I recommend to look at product recommendations online. Any boot is liable to cause annoyance to a pet since they are not use to wearing them. Petsmart and Petco both tend to carry products that work well and are durable. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.

If his paw pads seem irritated you could try Musher’s Secret. You might want to put baby socks on his paws (if he’ll tolerate them) until the boots come in when he’s going outdoors. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/mushers-secret-paw-protection-balm

Use an appropriate size sweater or jacket when necessary. Booties can be used to protect feet from ice and snow. You can buy these items online or in most pet stores. Brands available will depend on your geographical location. Paw protection creams should be applied sparingly to the paw pads and between toes as needed. Musher's Secret Paw Protection Wax is one of the better brands.

Hello and welcome to Boop by Petco. If you are going to go outside and it is very cold out, or if you will be going for long walks or on colder surfaces (not snow but ice or cold pavement) then booties are a good idea as they can get frostbite and wounds from cold on their feet. Best of luck with Spike! Have fun with him!

Hi there. In general, there should be no problem with having Sadie wear booties designed for dogs most of the day, if she tolerates them well. So you could certainly try this. As another option, I would suggest taking a look at canine toe grips, which are designed specifically for this purpose and are much less bothersome to most dogs than booties: https://toegrips.com/ Putting down rugs and carpet runners in areas where she spends a lot of time can also be a good way to give her more traction. I hope that helps a bit! :)
