I really like Virbac's line of dermatologic products, and their Epi-Otic is a great all-purpose ear cleanser for dogs. It is available over the counter, and you can order it from DrsFosterandSmith.com or Amazon.

I really like the Douxo Micellar Solution. It is great at breaking up waxy debris in the ears, it is gentle, and safe if the eardrum is not intact. Here is the link to purchase it on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00G3DN3ZW/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1515718924&sr=8-1&keywords=douxo+micellar+solution&dpPl=1&dpID=318m8cDzvCL&ref=plSrch Thank you for using Boop by Petco!

It is possible that he is flapping his ears due to the cold, but it's always worth having his ears checked out by a vet to be safe. As for ear cleaners, I recommend Epi-Otic. It's an excellent ear cleaner, and you can get it from your vet's clinic or a pet shop :-)

There are lots of ear cleaners for dogs on the market, so you definitely have a number of different choices :) My favorite preventative cleaner for dogs who are prone to yeast infections is MalAcetic Otic Cleanser - it's a good cleaning and drying agent, and keeps the pH low to make the ear canal less inviting for yeast and bacteria. You should be able to find it (or something similar) online from most pet retailers.

I would recommend not just an ear wash but also medications to clear up this infection. If there is moderate-severe or 2+ yeast and cocci then I would recommend Oticetic flush and Mometamax ear medicine. You can also try Zymox ear medicine as an alternative. You typically can only get these through your vet or with veterinary approval. Ear medicine and medicated cleaners are typically not sold over the counter. Best of luck with your pet Poliana and her current ear infection. Take care.
