I am a little concerned about many over-the-counter deworming products as they are often not effective and sometimes even cause some toxicity issues. I recommend a full exam for these kittens by your veterinarian, and a product like pyrantel as a dewomer because it is safe and effective for kittens. This way your vet can see if there is something physically wrong with the kitten that is having trouble passing stools.

Yes, you can as long as product and dosage are appropriate. The route of administration would depend on the treatment itself (some are tablets some other are spot on). As long as the product is on prescription and of good quality, there is no most effective way.

Hello. Since you wormed her for the tapeworms, it is a good idea to also worm for roundworms & hookworms. You should be able to easily find this at PetSmart, just look for anything that indicates it has pyrantel pamoate in it & just follow the label directions. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

The type of dewormer depends on the intestinal parasite. If you post or describe the parasite I might be able to help you further. Check this product if Cristoph has roundworms: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/excel-roundworm-cat-de-wormer?rrec=true or this one if he has tapeworm: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/bayer-tapeworm-dewormer-tablets-for-cats?rrec=true Please refer to your vet or post again if you have any doubt, question or you are not sure regarding the amount to administer. Please make sure is the correct product for his size and age. I hope this answer was helpful.

There are many different products for flea and worm treatment, but many have the same ingredients and work just as well as the others; so there's really no superior product amongst them. However, some stores will sell homeopathic products, or products labeled as natural, that are either not effective or far less effective than the medicated products. For this reason, I recommend only getting a product that is recommended by a veterinarian. For more information about treating fleas, please read the short article at the link below: https://www.petcoach.co/article/5-tips-to-get-rid-of-fleas/ When it comes to deworming, it actually depends on the type of worms that you are treating. In order to know this, Toby will have to be tested for worms at a veterinary clinic. Considering one of your cats has long-standing diarrhea, I recommend a visit to your veterinarian sometime soon. Long-term diarrhea is more concerning of an infection, or primary condition of the intestines like IBD.
