You will need to check that your local Petco has a Vetco clinic branch as well, they will have a look at the vaccines she already got and will let you know which ones need to be done next. regarding food i recommend one of the following: Orijen, Acana, Evovle or Taste of the wild.

Getting a new puppy? What should I do to prepare for their arrival?

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! What an exciting time. You would need to start by getting a high quality diet (I like the Purina Pro Plan diets though there are plenty to choose from). Also, a dog bed and toys will be important as well. I recommend that you check with your veterinarian to get him in for initiation of vaccines and to start other preventative care medications such as flea and tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives. Is a fan enough to cool my dog in hot weather? Can dogs eat ice cream?

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Temperature has no effect on bladder stones. A fan is fine to use to keep pets cool. Also make sure they have access to shade if they are outside. Please do not feed Cointhee any ice cream or other dairy products. Pets do not have the enzymes to break dairy down and it can cause diarrhea.
