Hello. Jumbo will benefit from being where the action is. The living room or family room is often a great place for your bird since they will feel a part of the family and get to spend more time with you there. If space is an issue in the living room, the cage could be put in a bedroom or office and a smaller play stand can be set up in the living room. That way, the bird has a quiet room for sleep but can be on the play stand for more interaction through the day. I would avoid putting a cage in the kitchen because of the bird dangers that exist there. Hot stove tops, Teflon pans, etc all can be extremely harmful or fatal for birds. Wherever you locate the cage, make sure it’s free of drafts and that other family pets can’t access the cage or pose harm to Jumbo. Good luck!

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Bombay cats are very lean cats. The fact he is putting on weight makes me less worried. The muscle mass may take time to develop. If you notice that the weight he is gaining is more concentrated to his belly then I would have your Vet examine him. You can also post a picture and we'd be happy to look. I hope this helps and I wish you and Jhumru the best!

Thanks for reaching out about Stretch tongue and including photos. First thoughts are this is a male and impacted hemipenes. Second thought is calcium deficiency and coccygeal (tail) vertebral luxation. Check and correct husbandry and diet, but an examination with someone with reptile experience is recommended. Good luck.

JuJu is so cute! The concern about feeding a dog from a raising height is that it can predispose them to developing bloat. It would be better for her to sit or stand while eating from the bowl off the ground.

Thanks for reaching out about Juno. Regarding which type of wood to use, many wood can be toxic. The idea of driftwood is that they are dried, bleached and have soaked for extended periods of time to leach out potential toxins. As the sap leaches into the water, potential materials either toxic or dangerous to the biological filter could cause problems. The wood from fruit with pits (peach, nectarines, etc.) and applewood potential contain cyanide. Oak and other hard woods have resins that could affect fish. Good luck.
