Hello. There are a lot of really good flea & tick products out there, & for everyone one of them, you can find an untrue horror story online. Advantix ll has been around for over 10 years & if there were significant problems with this, it would be long gone by now. The oral products Bravecto & Nexguard, are also very, very good. The problem with the orals is that a similar product called Simparica, was associated in a slight increase in tremors or seizures in some dogs. But this has really not been the case with either Bravecto or Nexguard. Tick disease can be very serious, costly & dangerous. You have to weigh the very small chance of a reaction associated with one of the flea/tick products with the real possibility of a serious tick borne disease. I would rather not have to deal with nasty ticks on my pets or in my home. I regularly use Bravecto on some of my pets & the Seresto collars on others & have been very happy. 1. You don't need to give Daisy a flea bath before giving her the Advantix. You can give her the Advantix now. I don't recommend flea baths because they don't work well and can be very irritating to the skin. 2. You do not need to use the Advantix with the Sentry flea collar. Using Sentry (which contains fipronil) and Advantix together should be done with caution, as they have not be approved by the manufacturers for use together. The Advantix alone is enough protection. 3. You can give Daisy Capster with the Advantix. It's a one time pill that stars killing fleas in 30 minutes, and is safe to use anytime. That's the only oral medication I woken recommend to use in combination with the Advantix. Don't forget to disinfect the environment as well. Wash Daisy's bedding in hot soapy water, and vacuum the furniture and carpet surfaces. You can use a flea spray in the home such as Indorex, or you may need to flea bomb the house to kill the fleas. I hope this helps!

Yes, you can! However, it is generally recommended that you bathe your dog before applying K9 Advantix II. You should also make sure you've dried your dog thoroughly before applying it. If you decide to bathe your dog in between treatments, I suggest you use of a general grooming shampoo for pets. Also, if you have cats, keep in mind that you shouldn't use K9 Advantix II on them.

You can actually give them at the same time, they are completely different products that work in different ways. I also recommend you use a good household flea fogger and vacuum EVERYWHERE! Even hard floors. Wash the dogs bedding on a hot wash, and your bedding if they sleep with you. If you're still finding fleas after a week, you should get a better product from your vet - I recommend Simparica or Comfortis/ Trifexis.

You really should only need one or the other product. Putting both products on at the same is not recommended. If you are using Advantix II and you are still seeing fleas then I suggest you switch to another flea prevention.
