Antibiotics that could be prescribed for secondary skin infections include Clavamox and Cephalexin among others. The type of antibiotic prescribed by your vet depends on the type of bacterial infection they find on Keo's skin. Again, all prescription medication should be used under the direct supervision of your veterinarian.

I would not recommend using this medication on your dog. This medicine contains very unusual combination of active ingredients (antibiotic, anti-fungal agent, steroid and an agent against skin parasites). Giving steroids in fungal infections and parasites infestation is contraindicated but in this medicine they have been combined. It sounds that the tablets are for ' all possible skin problems' but by using it, for example in case of a mange or ringworm it could make things worse.

Hi there. I would definitely recommend using a prescription flea/tick medication from your veterinarian such as Nexgard or Bravecto - these meds are much more effective and also safer than flea/tick shampoos.

You can find this product at any of the online veterinary pharmacies. In order to find the best value I would recommend going on goodrx.com. On this website you will be able to type in the medication and dose and it will provide you with coupon codes and the location of where you need to obtain the product. Regardless of what site you use you will still need to obtain a prescription from your veterinarian. I always caution my clients when they are planning to purchase these types of products from pharmacies of unknown origin as we cannot be certain how the drugs are being stored and what source they are obtaining the drugs from. Do your due diligence before deciding on which place to use. I have had relatively good experiences with Valley Vet Supply.

There is a shampoo that can help somewhat but likely won't completely resolve this infection without prescription antibiotics through your vet. The shampoo is called Duoxo Chlorhexidine shampoo --> https://www.amazon.com/Douxo-Chlorhexidine-Shampoo-16-9-oz/dp/B000O1HEJ0/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3IX1JOHHEE23W&dchild=1&keywords=duoxo+shampoo+for+dogs&qid=1587904785&sprefix=duoxo+shampoo%2Caps%2C144&sr=8-5 I hope that this helps. Best of luck with your pet Bruno moving forward. Take care.
