Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Cats can delay labor for a maximum of 24 hours. If it has been longer than 24 hours then that constitutes an emergency. If you are concerned about a retained kitten that hasn't been born great than 24 hours after the birth of the last kitten I highly recommend a Vet appointment. They can take an X-ray to confirm she is finished. I wish Chloe the best!

I took my kitten to a Vetco Wellness clinic today (3954 Sports Arena Blvd) because she has diarrhea, and was told that they only do vaccinations. The Vetco website is giving out the wrong information, and I wasted 1/4 tank of gas on that trip. Plea
My sincere apologies for the confusion, as well as the time you spent traveling and ultimately not being able to get help for Bandit. The Vetco Clinics only provide vaccinations and a few services for well patients, such as routine blood work, fecal exams, and the prescription of flea/tick and heartworm preventives. I will certainly pass your concerns along to the web design team to ensure that any confusion is resolved. This will depend on the individual animals. A gradual introduction would be recommended for any new additions. Allow them to hear and smell the kitten but not see it, then allow sight but not physical contact and finally, allow short periods of supervised physical interactions until all parties have accepted one another. Ideally, there should be 1 litterbox per cat plus an additional box in a neutral location. Use separate food bowls to prevent food aggression. Provide additional beds, toys and scratching posts to prevent resource protection. A pheromone product, such as Feliway spray or plug in diffuser, may decrease any anxiety or aggression between the older cat and the kitten.

She needs to see a Vet now, waiting until the morning is not advised. Is there an open emergency hospital or vet that has hours now? I do not know what shape Fruity will be in and if the kittens will be alive by the morning. I wish you add Fruity the best!
