Hi, in terms of cat furniture don’t worry cats don’t need anything particularly fancy. They enjoy sitting on a shelf as in the picture and look outside the window. You would add some cardboard boxes that can also work as cratching posts and a couple of pillow on the bookshelf. I think the feeding area would better be moved, because being right in front of the windows is exposed, they can see/be seen and could spot something that might upset them. It is also advisable to keep feeding areas away from their litter tray and perhaps moving it would help increasing this distance. Are there only two cats in the room ? If so also consider the number of litter trays. I mo not sure how many you have at present, and if things work out well I probably would suggest not to change them. You can find lots of ideas in building/creating cat furniture from ikea furniture if you fancy a change in the future. Also cats will need to be active and interact with you so make sure you consider this in your rou

Congratulations on your new kitten! Freckle has certainly had a lot of changes recently and it is common that kittens and cats are nervous about new people, so this may be a temporary thing or may be Freckle's personality. You could try something to decrease stress to see if that makes a difference. One option for decreasing stress is to add a Feliway Diffuser ( https://www.feliway.com ) to your house. This is a calming pheromone that will work for a month. I have also had luck with Rescue Remedy ( http://www.bachflower.com/rescue-remedy-pet/ ) which can be added to the water. You could also consider calming music specifically for cats ( http://throughadogsear.com/tace/through-a-cats-ear-1-music-for-calming/ ) or even a calming treat like Composure ( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/cat/cat-health-and-wellness/cat-calming-aids/vetri-science-composure-feline-bite-sized-chews ). Good luck! I hope that was helpful and gives you some ideas. Thanks for using Boop by

Congrats on your new hedgehog, and thanks for using Boop by Petco! As hedgehogs love burrowing, if you aren't providing a deep layer of bedding for her to burrow in, a small enclosure would be the next most ideal. There are many commercially available huts, sleep shacks, and bags that ST.Hedgie would love, and it will really depend on your needs and her likes. Some hedgehogs prefer the plastic, dome-type huts, and some prefer soft sacks. Cleaning will be easiest with plastic, but she may prefer a fabric house, so be prepared to appropriately clean the house of her choosing on a regular basis. Here are some options: Soft, hanging hut: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/small-animal/small-animal-sleepers-hideaways/multipet-pineapple-house-small-animal-hideaway-in-yellow Plastic castle hut: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/small-animal/small-animal-sleepers-hideaways/you-and-me-small-animal-hideaway Grassy hut: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/prod

I usually recommend getting toys a cat likes to play with, and that depends on the individual cat. Some cats like to chase balls, others like toys with catnip in it, and some love feathers attached to strings. I personally really like the Catit brand of toys, they have this Senses Play Circuit with a ball in it, and it encourages a cat to play but they can do it on their own. I would go to a pet store and get a variety of five toys to see what Keke may like best. Moving into a new home is stressful for a cat, and it will take time for her adjust. Be patient. Offer her treats and praise when she comes out of hiding to see you. That will encourage her to come out more. I hope this helps!
