If you are finding that Toorko is bored or laying around a lot, I would encourage more toy play and more interactive toys. Cats are predators and enjoy hunting things. Toys that encourage this behavior can be good for stimulation. Interactive devices such as the PetCube can help with this. I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Hello, congratulations on your new kitten. Not every cats, particularly young cats may be attracted or enriched by catnip. Some cats have no response to it. Additionally, your kitten my be too young to understand the concept of a Kong toy. This type of toy, works well for food motivated pets. So of Halley is eating as much as a kitten does, then she may not be too food motivated yet. As she gets older, its likely that she will begin to look for treats and understand the concept of the Kong toy. In the interim, there are plenty other toys you may consider for kittens, ideally something they are unable to rip or chew and therefore ingest. Avoid strings or soft toys. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Jasper sounds like quite a character! I do recommend obviously to be VERY careful regarding chewing electrical cords. Many pets lose their lives each year due to chewing cords that are plugged in! Make sure to always replace tubes/keep them covered/keep them in areas that Jasper cannot access. You may even have a Jasper-proof room where he gets shut in any time you are not home to watch him. This is certainly a good safety measure. There are many toys options out there and I think KONG has a few that are aimed at cats who like to chew. Some even have tasty little treats that you can put in them, some have cat nip in them and I think he would have a lot of fun. It is important for you to remove any strings or movable pieces off the toys before you give it to him so that he doesn't swallow them. Also check the toys regularly for any pieces breaking off that he could swallow as this is a risk for intestinal blockage. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional ques

Boxer is a cute name for a cat! Some kitties could play with a crumpled piece of paper for hours while others need more interaction or a more complicated toy to be entertained. You might try using the toys to interact with her by throwing them downstairs or into an area where she has to hunt for them to increase her interest in them. Catnip can also be sprinkled on her toys to give her added enrichment.

Toys should be big enough to where she cannot swallow them. You can throw crumpled paper balls for her (cats love them, play with them and carry them around), get a few feathers, tie them together with a string and let her run after that. Get a laser pointer...she might like to hunt the dot. There are also plastic balls with a hole to be filled with some dry kibble, and she has to move it around for food to fall out one by one. My cats also like to play with small stuffed animals. That should give you a few ideas.
