Hopefully it is the same medication, although there have been lawsuits about mislabeled and counterfeit medications with online pharmacies. Also, you do need a prescription from your veterinarian in order to purchase these products. I would recommend visiting with your veterinarian, as there is a possibility they may price match for you. Hello and thank you for contacting Boop by Petco. You need to monitor your Tinker Bell over the next 24-48hrs. Do not give her any laxative and do not change her diet. The symptoms of gastrointestinal foreign body include vomiting, lack of appetite, abdominal pain, lack of stools. If you see any of these symptoms in the next 48hrs, please take Tinker Bell to your vets as an emergency. If after 48hrs she is well and will have not developed any of these symptoms, it will mean that she is out of danger.

Hello. Was the latanoprost scripted out by your vet? This medication is used in dogs with glaucoma, not KCS. Snoopy may also be hypersensitive to this medication, so if your vet has not diagnosed glaucoma, nor scripted the latanoprost to you, you should not be putting this in his eyes. Please see your vet to see what can be done to keep Snoopy comfortable. Your vet is more than qualified to diagnose & treat KCS. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

hi, I'd like to ask you about Cataracts with Dogs. She's a Cockapoo/ 13 yrs old. She has it in both eyes. Does lanosterol work at all to help clear her vision?
Hi and thank you for your post on Boop by Petco! Lanosterol is a drug that is current being researched to help dissolve cataracts in people and it not yet FDA approved. However, the drug Lanomax containing Lanosterol, has some evidence behind its effectiveness at dissolving cataracts in dogs. The general consensus now is it may take 6 weeks or more to see slight improvements and does not work well for terminal or mature cataracts. It also should not be used with other conditions of the eye such as corneal ulcers, inflammation or infection of the eye, dry eye, or glaucoma. Surgical removal of cataracts is still the gold standard of treatment and produces the best results ( full removal of cataract). Hope this helps!
