Hello and thank you for reaching out to Boop by Petco. Growing kittens can have a high predator instinct, making them want to bite and scratch. My recommendation is to play with Rocky using various toys that allow you to play from a distance to prevent you from getting scratched. This will also expend some of his energy so he isn't overly playful/aggressive when you try to pet him. You may also try petting him for short periods of time, even as short as 20-30 seconds, and then give him a break. Cats can easily become overstimulated and lash out and bite/scratch, even if they are purring. I hope this is helpful!

It sounds like Snuggle has created her own game. I see that she is a kitten, so I would work on environmental enrichment for her to more appropriately get her energy out. This website has a number of good ideas for that. https://indoorpet.osu.edu/cats Remember that kittens are supposed to be practicing their hunting skills many times a day. My best recommendation would be to find ways for Snuggle to use her hunting skills without involving you or your soon. One of my favorite things for kittens is a no bowl feeding system like Doc & Phoebe ( https://docandphoebe.com/ ) that requires them to "hunt" for their food. Why are cats most of the time bored?
If you are finding that Toorko is bored or laying around a lot, I would encourage more toy play and more interactive toys. Cats are predators and enjoy hunting things.
