I'm having a really old book(from 80s or 90s) contains things like breed standards and AKC obedience and Agility standards and how to train in these but I'm afraid it might be a little bit out of date for the current standard. What would you recommen
You can search online for an updated edition of the book in question. Sites such as Amazon ( www.amazon.com ) or the AKC Shop ( https://shop.akc.org ) may have it or a similar publication. "The New Complete Dog Book" ( https://shop.akc.org/products/the-new-complete-dog-book ) may be something you would be interested in.

My dog Dexter is a rescue and although I don’t know much about his medical history, I’ve noticed he might have some trouble with his skin. A vet on this site (thank you Dr. Elizabeth from the U.S.) recommended I start giving him omega 3 fatty acids.

Handsome boy! Those are good products for joint health and inflammation. I recommend a veterinary exam to diagnosis the lameness. It is common for large breeds to have a cruciate ligament injury in the knee. He also may have hip dysplasia. Knowing the reason for the lameness will help you decide the treatment that is best to have him recover from the lameness. I have a 5lb dog that is a teddy bear breed. We live in WI. Does he need a coat during winter or shoes? I have hear mix thing from people.
Batman is cute!!!! I would recommend a coat for sure when he goes outside. If he is going outside for longer then 10 minutes, I would also recommend boots (if he will wear them). These little ones lose body heat quickly. Thank you for using Pet Coach!

Harrison's Bird Diet is the best food out there. It is pelleted so there can be some resistance from your bird transitioning to the new diet if he has been on a seed diet, but it is nutritionally complete and very high quality. Toys I find that lovebirds like have been cotton rope toys that they can preen and groom like the feathers of another bird.
