They can eat chicken feed, cracked corn, oats, groats, greens, oyster shells (crushed), mealworms, nightcrawlers, crickets, berries and carrots just to list a few items. This is by no means an all inclusive list. You can find more acceptable foods at www.backyardchickens.com.

A proper diet for red-eared sliders includes a complete pellet, such as those made by ReptoMin, and dark leafy green vegetables. This can be fed once per day, and the amount should be based on how many pellets Cooper can eat in 5-7 minutes. This is just a guideline, and your veterinarian can help you to determine if this is appropriate based on Cooper's body condition score (i.e. whether she is overweight or not). For a heat lamp - photo 1 just looks like the dome, and there doesn't appear to be a bulb in it. The second lamp looks like it is a daytime only heat lamp - it is often beneficial to have a heat source that can be used during the day or at night, and if that is what you are looking for, I would recommend a ceramic heat bulb. A bit depends on how old Mika is but she appears young from your pictures. Feed every day and remove uneaten food after a few minutes that she doesn't eat. She should get about 45-50 veggies, 25% animal protein (feeder fish or worms) and 25% pelleted diet. If she is active and eating that is a good sign for health. Make sure no white patches or soft spots on her shell. Keep water quality good in her tank, make sure she has areas to get out of the water and bask and full spectrum UV lighting. Here is a great article on RES care, with specific parameters. http://www.anapsid.org/reslider.html

Separate her from the flock. Consider an exam with your veterinarian or a vet experienced in treating domestic fowl. Submit a sample of the droppings to diagnose intestinal parasites or bacterial overgrowth. Keep her warm and as stress free as possible until she sees the vet. Provide a fortified diet or layer feed. You can moisten it with warm water to make a mash that may stimulate her appetite.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I recommend Purina Pro Plan shredded blends chicken and rice. This specific diet is very palatable and also very good in terms of nutrition. You could also consider adding dog grade gravy to her food which may improve her appetite. Another thing you can do is add pieces of chicken to the kibble at least for now to encourage her to eat. Good luck!
