Absolutely not. Enrpofloxacine and doxycycline are antibiotics and are for a bacterial infection. Metoclopramide will just suppress the body;s natural way of trying to get rid of that foreign body. You must take your dog to a veterinarian NOW for an exam and xrays and appropriate treatment. This could be surgery or waiting for the foreign body leaves the body naturally, however a veterinarian must assess the situation.

Hello, without knowing the reason for the Pred., I cannot comment fully of this particular situation, but yes, Pred. is often associated with the elevation of liver values. I would definitely have Piluko on a liver protectant like Sam-e with milk thistle ( we have Denamarin here in the US ). As for the vomiting, your vet may recommend the metoclopramide or another medication such as Cerenia to control it. You can also try ginger root as it does have anti-nausea properties. The dose is wide, from 15-200 mg/kg every 12 hours, so start low & look to find a ginger root capsule that contains no other ingredients, especially xylitol. Make sure you tell your vet if you decide to try this. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I'm sorry to hear your dog is having stomach issues on a medication. Typically, a bland diet (such as boiled white meat chicken and white rice) can be helpful for medication-induced GI upset. If your dog isn't eating, vomiting, having diarrhea or otherwise feeling ill, then I would recommend having him evaluated by his veterinarian, as something more than just a medication reaction may be going on. Good luck!

Carpeofen is not recommended with pancreatitis as it can make the condition worse, in some severe cases steroids can be prescribed. i would recommend adding a few medications to what she is getting: Cerenia, Famotidine, Omeprazole. these 3 can help significantly. i would also recommend switching from Amoxicillin to Metronidazole. she of course needs to be on a special prescription low fat diet such as Royal Canin gastrointestinal low fat.

Chewy would need to be examined by a veterinarian in order to prescribe any medication. Set up an appointment for a general check up with a local veterinarian. During the apt, you can can discuss medications to relieve anxiety or stop vomiting/drooling if needed. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
