You can put your location into the search engine on this site: https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/clinic-locations-and-schedules/ to determine the locations and times near you for vaccines. The cost will depend on the vaccinations needed which will be determined by your dog's history and the vet's recommendations but you can look at https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/vaccination-packages-and-prices/ for some ideas on prices. You can use this link https://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/lifestyle-assessment/ to help determine what vaccines Harold might need. I do not believe most locations do nail trims but you can call the store where the vaccine clinic is located to find out, often a groomer is affiliated within many of the stores and the groomer will do nail trims.

Almost any shelter in the US will euthanize a dog for free as long as the euthanasia is warranted. I do not know if you have a shelter open on a Sunday in your area but I suggest you start calling around. At this time that is all you can do. Call vets and see if someone can help you. You may get a lot of "no's" but I bet you will find someone to say "yes". Clay County Humane Society is very close to you. http://www.clayhumane.org/low-cost-clinic.php You can also try Maverick Animal Clinic. I can't find their website but they have a FB page. I would try FCNMHP. If she is that low income the services may be free. http://www.fcnmhp.org/help-pet-owners/low-cost-veterinary-services/ That's the best I can tell you. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I understand your worry, Peanut is having a big day! The vet will perform a physical exam on Peanut. I am sure if you ask when you drop her off to have the Vet call you after she/he looks at Peanut they will. That way you can discuss your concerns and "meet" the Vet in a sense. Since Peanut is older, at a minimum, I would want blood work and X-rays of her chest. Maybe you can discuss those things over the phone and if they have the ability to run the blood work in house they can do that before anesthesia. The raw hide from 2 days ago should be broken down by now. Good luck today!

Hello. If he is on a twice a day dose of Rimadyl, you can give him the second dose now, but he can not have another dose for another 24 hours. Please make sure you inform Rossi's veterinarian of any medications you give. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Congratulations on your new dog Ricky Ricardo! In my opinion, there’s not really a superior nail trimmer but for small breed dogs, the AKC does recommend the guillotine type as compared to the scissor type. Try conditioning Ricky to have a positive association with the clippers. This can be managed with high value treats and clicker training. Basically you start by rewarding her every time she looks at the clippers (click. treat). Then you gradually bring the clippers closer and touch her with the clippers. Every time she gets a reward. Then you slowly progress to clipping 1 nail (click. treat). And so on and so forth. It may not always be easy but it’s a start and hopefully she will allow it to happen. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.
