Thank you for using Boop by Petco! Fish oil is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which help keep the coat shiny. I recommend using a product labeled for dogs, which are available in pet stores. These are typically dosed based on weight (larger dogs may require multiple capsules), and are given daily. There are many options available, from liquids to capsules, so you can choose whatever suits you and Marley! I hope this helps and that all is well!

I like Missing Link Original. If your local Petco does not carry it you can order it online or ask you local store manager to order it for you. ( https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/brand/the-missing-link ) Hope this helps. Best wishes.

Hello. The problem with using oils on the coat is the residual greasiness. If you want to use something, use a leave-in conditioner made for dogs, either post bathing, or one of the mousse rub in ones. The best way to get oils into the coat is to feed Arjun omega 3 fatty acids, so a good fish oil supplement daily. I would administer 1 000-1200 mg capsule twice daily & in a couple of weeks, his coat should start looking a little better. The longer you give it, the better it will work. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Nikki is adorable! Thanks for including pictures! Yes, PetSmile is expensive, but it is one of the only toothpastes to actually be approved by the Veterinary Oral Health Council. Here is a list of their approved products. http://www.vohc.org/VOHCAcceptedProductsTable_Dogs.pdf PetSmile is what I use with my dogs. (Last year they ran a 25% off sale before Christmas, so I stocked up!) Yes, it is fine to use Dawn on Nikki's feet daily, but I suspect any gentle cleaner would be fine as well. You may have to experiment to find the best shampoo for her. I have been very pleased with EarthBath products, so you might want to try their Oatmeal and Aloe shampoo for itch relief. https://earthbath.com/product/oatmeal-aloe-shampoo/ There are also prescription itch relief shampoo and conditioner products if needed that you can talk to your vet about. Good luck! I hope that was helpful and answered your questions. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Coat length is determined by genetics so you can't change that. At home you can try giving him an omega 3 fatty acid supplement for pets and changing the food. There are two brands of food, Royal Canin and Nutro, which are aimed at skin and coat health. Supplements and diet may help to promote a healthy coat. Additionally, conditions such as skin infections, parasites, allergies and endocrine disease will all cause poor hair coats so it's important to make sure Bollubhai is healthy. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
