You can use Natures Recipe, Purina One or even Purina ProPlan. They all have salmon based formulas. I put the links to them in the answer for you also. I do recommend glucosamine/chondroitin for dogs, typically over 6 years old but any dog can always benefit from it. It can only help. https://www.chewy.com/natures-recipe-grain-free-salmon/dp/36660 https://www.chewy.com/purina-one-smartblend-true-instinct/dp/119199 https://www.chewy.com/purina-pro-plan-savor-adult-shredded/dp/114028 Thank you for using Boop by Petco.

Kirkland Nature's Domain, Nutro Limited Ingredient Diet, and Nutro Grain Free all seem to be grain-free diets that do not include kelp or buffalo ingredients in them. There are several more brands that do not contain these ingredients, and looking for sensitive stomach or limited ingredient diets may help point you in the right direction for finding what works best for Toby Bear.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I recommend Hill's Science Diet, Royal Canin, Purina and Iams/Eukanuba. These companies employ veterinary nutritionists and have above industry standards regarding quality ingredients and care to prevent contamination at their facilities. These companies are far superior than the boutique brands. Have a good day!

The key to doing treats while a dog is on an elimination diet is to use treats that have the same ingredients as the food you are trying. Sometimes the easiest way to do this is to use canned food of the variety and flavor that you are using to put in a Kong or bake into treats. Other options would be to use sweet potato chews if the food you are feeding has sweet potatoes in it (which Zignature kangaroo does not) or giving dehydrated chews that are the same meat source that you are feeding (which will be a challenge for a kangaroo food). So, for the food you are feeding right now, the best option may be to use canned Zignature kangaroo to create treats for Lucy. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Thats funny! Most dogs don't want to eat the Z/D! I don't think they have a food that tastes exactly like the Z/D at non-prescription price but you could try any of the science diet dog foods - all of which are very palatable and she may like. For just a general food, I like science diet adult for dogs over 1. Once she is over 7 years old, I recommend to switch her to the senior diet. It is perfectly safe for her to eat the z/d long term although that would be expensive for you. I hope this helps!
