So the bird food had a lot of mouse droplets in it even in the bag I didn't expect it at all and now as you see in the picture they are waiting for their food I have to go get some but that will take some time how long can they without food i can giv
If the food is full of mouse droppings it is best to purchase new food ASAP. While treats can be given, they are not a balanced diet, and a new food should be purchased and given as soon as possible to avoid any illness or GI upset. In the future, placing their food in an airtight storage container made from plastic can help prevent rodents from getting to it.

If you cannot find measurements for the cage type you are looking at, I would go with a different company or location to one that offers measurements such as bar sizing, cage sizing etc, before purchasing. Birds can be picky eaters, and very messy ones, and they may throw food just for the fun of it. Continuing to offer a variety of fruits and veggies in addition to his regular food can help him become more interested in trying (and hopefully liking) more things. Cage guards can also be useful in helping contain the normal mess birds make as they eat.

Hello. Depending on what species the birds are, it may be hours before the parents return. The best thing to do if you do not see any activity around the nest is to call a wildlife rehabilitator. Here in the US, there are many bird loving people that have the time & experience to raise baby birds. It is a huge commitment. If nothing like this is available in your area, then you may need to raise the birds. They need to be fed every 2 hours from dawn to dusk. I use a mash of pate type dog food & chick starter. Use a small wooden dowel or stick, & gently tap the side of the beak. That usually stimulates the bird to open up. Then you place about a small pea sized piece of food down the throat. The babies must be kept warm with either a heating pad or a brooder lamp. There are also many videos available to help. Go to YouTube & type in caring for orphaned baby birds. Good luck.

How can I cure this dry feet on my bird? If She has mites, do I spray it on her feet? Her nail is also very wobbly. Is there something wrong? Btw I feel like She needs to get her beak trimmed because every time she bites, it feels like a bee sting. H
Follow directions for application on the container. Some sprays can be used directly on the bird (avoiding the eyes, nose and mouth), others cannot. Clean and sanitize her cage, bowls, perches and toys. Discard anything that cannot be sanitized. Change the cage paper or substrate daily. Provide a mineral block, pumice stone or cuttlebone to maintain beak length. Your avian veterinarian can trim the beak if necessary. Concrete or textured perches can also be used as they promote healthy feet as well as provide natural beak trimming opportunity.

Hello, I've got a baby bird and its eyes still arnt open it looks like it has fallen from its nest, I can't find it nest to put it back either... I've made a nest of my own to put it in but should I feed it ? Or will it just die the next morning ?
You can definitely try to feed it, you will need to buy wet canned cat food such as Recovery or A/D (from your local vet) as well as a syringe, you will need to feed it every couple hours during the day (no need to feed during the night).
