what do I do if my puppy is smart enough to get out of her cage on her own?
I would recommend getting a different cage or one that requires two fingers to engage a spring. Dogs are unable to open the cages that have the springs in my experience. These are similar to cat carriers that have the spring loaded mechanism on the door. I hope this helps! I need your help here. I've been thinking to purchase a crate and a crate bed and crate cover for my little girl. Since she loves to nap under the table and I thought it'll be much safer and comfortable for her to sleep there from time to time. And
A crate or crate training is never a bad idea. It can also serve as a safe place for Bella (as you have stated). It doesn't need to be huge either, just big enough for her to lay down, turn around and stand. Make sure there are no sharp edges and that the bars are close enough together so she cannot get her head between them.

We recently got an electronic doggie door. While we are training them we have it set to unlocked. Our 50-pound lab mix has pretty much figured it out. However we also have midna the Chiweenie she is scared of the door I think so because we had to buy
I am sorry you are having trouble with Midna! It may be that she needs some extra time and attention to learn this skill, and unfortunately there are no guarantees that she will ever get it figured out. I would try teaching her separately from the big dog for a while. See if you can get her to do it without the bigger dog around, then try to get her to "wait her turn," after the bigger dog goes through so that it doesn't whap her in the face. Best of luck to you! How can i train my 7 month old Siberian Husky to stay up stairs while I’m down stairs or my family because she pushes the gate then opens the other 2 from the stairs she was calm before she stayed watching us in kitchen now she cries and bites the ga
You can work on training her to 'settle' in a certain area like a bed, and then work on having her go to that place for short periods of time while you are in the other room. Over time you can gradually increase the amount of time that she spends in her 'settle' place. Consistency is key - if you're struggling you could always contact a trainer as well. In the meantime while you are training I would recommend either keeping Luna confined to a crate if she is crate trained so she can't see people in the kitchen or open the gates. Try distracting her with a treat puzzle or other toy that will keep her occupied for a little while. Good luck - hope this helps!

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Too funny! Finn is cute! I recommend purchasing the child safety door guards sold at baby stores or online. They prevent children from opening doors. I’m not sure how he manages but he is amazing! I hope this helps!
