Yes, you can give shark cartilage, but you should not give Novox if he received a cortisone injection The Novox should be discontinued in order to prevent stomach ulcers and other side effects and the amount of time it needs to be discontinued will depend on the type of cortisone that was given. I would recommend that you speak to your veterinarian about this and they can tell you the type of cortisone and how long it lasts and the amount of time the Novox should be stopped. The shark cartilage can be given with all of these drugs safely. Thank you for using Boop by Petco.

You can find this product at any of the online veterinary pharmacies. In order to find the best value I would recommend going on goodrx.com. On this website you will be able to type in the medication and dose and it will provide you with coupon codes and the location of where you need to obtain the product. Regardless of what site you use you will still need to obtain a prescription from your veterinarian. I always caution my clients when they are planning to purchase these types of products from pharmacies of unknown origin as we cannot be certain how the drugs are being stored and what source they are obtaining the drugs from. Do your due diligence before deciding on which place to use. I have had relatively good experiences with Valley Vet Supply.

Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Anti-inflammatories need to be prescribed by your vet. But I highly recommend starting an Omega 3 fish oil which is a natural anti-inflammatory. I like Nordic Naturals or VRS Omega Benefits. Also I prefer veterinary glucomamines like Dasuquin or Glycoflex. I wish you the best! https://www.vrshealth.com/canine-products/omegadog/ https://m.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=34368 https://m.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=33709

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Good choice. Extend is actually very good. I prefer Cosequin because I have personally seen better results though Extend is also adequate and you could consider keeping Dottie on it longterm. Good luck and have a wonderful day!
