Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I personally like the Purina Pro Plan diets as well as the Hill's Science Diet foods as I think they are both palatable and highly nutritious. In terms of treats, I think the milk bones products are both nutritious, palatable and reasonably priced. Good luck and best wishes!

Hi there and thanks for posting on Boop by Petco! Yes, there are some good low calorie treats called "Tricky Trainers"which are only 3kcal/treat. They taste very good and smell good too! My dogs at home go bonkers for them. I hope this helps and best of luck!

The Internet says a lot of things. Petfood is one of those issues that people can have a lot of convictions about. However the question is have those individuals had actual training about pet nutrition. In making choices about pet food, I often look at a history of recalls. Newer pet food companies and boutique brands are more likely to have recall issues because they tend to not have as much quality control in the production of their food. Mistakes do happen and any company can have a recall but that is something to pay very close attention to. Most pets who eat Nutro tend to have good coat and stool quality too, this is a good sign. I hope this is

Thank you for using Boop by Petco. Treats should make up no more than 10% of a dog's diet. Think of it this way - treats are like cookies - they taste good and may have some nutritional value, but overall are empty calories. Dog treats are similar. You can use smaller treats, or training treats to be able to give her a treat more frequently, but no more than 10% (or less) of her diet needs to be treats.
