I wouldn't let Steel chew on the Nylabone or the chews unsupervised, but if you watch him use them to keep him from eating huge chunks of the chews or parts of the Nylabone, it's fine for him to have them :-)

Hi there. Great question! If Brody is a big chewer I would suggest compressed rawhides or nylabones. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/good-lovin-beef-flavored-compressed-rawhide-bone-dog-chew https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/nylabone-healthy-edibles-wild-bison-value-bag-dog-treats You may also want to consider getting him a kong and fill it with stuff that he likes. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/kong-classic-dog-toy https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/kong-stuffn-pepperoni-recipe Regardless of what you give him to chew always be sure he is supervised during chewing (except for the Kong) just in case he breaks a piece off the bone and tries to swallow it! This can cause choking. Hope this helps. Best wishes.

These tiny pieces should pass through without an issues. It is when larger pieces break off and are ingested that there is cause for concern. Always monitor your dog when he is chewing. Replace the NylaBone if it breaks into several parts or if he can fit the entire bone into his mouth.

As far as dog food goes, I tend to recommend Hill's Science Diet or the higher end Purina products. If you are looking to go a more natural route you would want to try something like Earthborn or Acana. Periodontal disease can be delayed with regular teeth brushing if Ratchett will allow it. You should be able to purchase most of what I mentioned at one of those stores. Hope this makes sense.

You would need a current prescription from a veterinarian who has physically examined Duke. You can then place your order and submit the prescription. The pharmacy will then contact the veterinarian or clinic to confirm the prescription then fill the order.
