Their dust free paper non-clumping kind would be okay. The main objective is to use a litter that is less likely to get into the small incisions on her toes in case there is an open area. Any traditional clay or clumping litter is NOT recommended. Litter in the form of pellets that don’t break apart is what you are looking for. You can also use shredded paper. Tired of vacuuming cat litter? Best low-tracking litter for my cat?
I use Yesteday News which is pelleted litter made from recycled newspaper. They also have pelleted pine litter. The pellets are bigger and don’t track out of the litter box, and don’t stick to their feet. I use just a small amount and clean it daily. I also have a robot vacuum and it vacuums daily on a schedule so the house is clean without me having to do it. The vacuum was one of my favorite purchases ever! How much is a cat at Petco? What supplies do I need & will it scratch?
Hello. The cats & kittens offered at Petco are actually managed by individual rescue groups. Prices will differ from rescue to rescue. All cats can do well if they are played with & fussed over once you get home. Can they get into trouble & sometimes make a mess? Absolutely. If you do not want hair & dander & kitty litter tracked all over the house, you should not have a pet. Cats may need to have their claws trimmed ( NOT REMOVED ) & plenty of opportunities to exercise their claws, otherwise they will scratch your furniture, moldings & walls. You will need different types of scratching surfaces, plenty of toys, a water & food dish, litter box ( or 2 ), & lots of patience. All cats are individuals, so when you go looking to adopt a cat, take your family & give yourself plenty of time to spend with your potential pet, & ask lots of questions about them. Is it okay to take my cat on a long road trip with a fast return?
That is fast turn around for such a long trip. If she rides week and is it easily stressed by new places or new rounding then you can. Most cats don’t ride well and since you will only be gone a day, it will likely be better to make arrangements for her to stay behind They travel safest in a carrier and sometimes sedation is needed so talk to your vet about medication
