Hello. You should really consider having Sweety evaluated by your veterinarian to make sure there are no more puppies inside. If there are, your veterinarian should ultrasound them to see if they are showing any signs of fetal distress. This will determine if an emergency C-section is necessary, We can see a bitch take up to 24 hours to deliver, but with such a small litter, & one non-viable pup, I would want to make sure all is well with Sweety. Tucker was being given 5mg Pepcid at 7:30am and 7:30pm. He last had Pepcid at 7:30 this morning. My vet has now prescribed 10mg Omeprazole to start tonight instead of Pepcid. Is it safe to give them both in one day since they are 12+ hours apart? A
Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Pepcid and Omeprazole can be given in the same day and are even safe to give together. It is also ok if he punctures the capsule, though he may not like the taste. You can try pill pockets or using canned food to give the pill in if he can tolerate that. I hope this helps!
