I need to add cotton to the pillow mat for my dog bed because it’s going flat, can I use any kind of cotton or should I be careful picking one out? She doesn’t chew her beds at all, it’s just going flat. Where can I get cotton for her bed?

Dachshunds tend to be snugglers, and also love to be buried (like under a blanket!). I'd look into a dog bed (or even a large cat bed) that has a [clamshell or hooded design](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/harmony-hooded-cave-cat-bed-in-grey) that she can crawl into and be covered up by it. We bought a new couch and we do not want her to shed on our couch so we bought a bed for she can set down on the couch but she does not want to set down what do I do
Praise and reward Bentley when she lays on her bed. Restrict access to the room if possible. You can also use a physical barrier such as a carpet runner flipped upside down. The grips on the runner will be uncomfortable for her to lay on. You can also use a deterrent product such as a Scat Mat which will deliver a harmless shock if she jumps up onto the couch.

I am getting a new puppy in 8 weeks! What all do I need to do to get prepared for the arrival of our new family member?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! What an exciting time. You would need to start by getting a high quality diet (I like the Purina Pro Plan diets though there are plenty to choose from). Also, a dog bed and toys will be important as well. I recommend that you check with your veterinarian to get him in for initiation of vaccines and to start other preventative care medications such as flea and tick preventatives and heartworm preventatives.
