Hello and thank you for reaching out to Boop by Petco. I'm sorry to hear about Kimmie's skin issues, but your veterinarian is correct in recommending this diet trial. You may be able to order the food through Chewy.com for cheaper than other places. They often have discounts for your first order, which can be really great. I would not change the diet your veterinarian prescribed, as this will defeat the purpose of the diet trial! I hope this is helpful!

I'm not as familiar with the Oxyfresh brand. The Oratene products are amazing and they have a brushless gel as well. ( https://www.allivet.com/p-5484-oratene-veterinarian-antiseptic-oral-gel-1-oz.aspx ) Glad you are getting the other products. Hope they help!

It is not uncommon for cats with a history or urinary tract issues to have recurrences. Specialised urinary tract diets such as royal canin urinary or hills c/d foods work very well to promote dilute urine with a mild pH to prevent such relapses. Wet foods with stress supplements are the most effective in such ranges and antiinflammatories can also help with the spasm and discomfort associated with same.

Houdini and Cindy are so cute! Vomiting in cats can be a sign of a number of issues including food sensitivities, kidney disease, toxin exposure, or inflammatory bowel disease. It's always a good idea to have a cat examined by a veterinarian for vomiting so that blood work or other testing can be done to rule out more serious issues. They may need supportive medication like Cerenia to help stop the vomiting. If Cinny and Houdini check out okay at the veterinarian then they may need a diet change. Some diets like Royal Canin Sensitive Stomach may be helpful. Or it is a possible a prescription diet like Hill's i/d may be beneficial. Thanks for using Boop by Petco and I hope Cinny and Houdini feel better soon!

If you live near a Petco that has a full service hospital then yes, you could talk to the vet about refilling your cat’s prescription. If your Petco has a Vetco vaccine clinic then the vet performs vaccines and routine preventative care only and would not be able to authorize refills. Based on the zip code you provided it doesn’t look like there is a full service hospital near you: https://stores.petco.com/vet-services?q=Rothschild,%20WI,%20USA
