Hi and thanks for posting on Boop by Petco! Temptations and Greenies are not very digestible which is why they can cause stomach upset. Commericial treats such as these can be highly processed, contain a variety of aritcial ingredients and flavors and contain high fat and low fiber content with fillers in them which can cause GI upset. A good alternative would be Smittens cat treats by Honest Kitchen which are all natural. I hope this helps!

I recommend you check out cat treats by Orijen. They have a wide variety of treats that contain meats other than chicken and seafood such as lamb, boar, and venison :-) https://www.orijen.ca/foods/cat-food/freeze-dried-cat-treats/?lang=us

Ark Naturals makes a poultry free dental chew. VetriScience Perio Plus also has a poultry free line. It may be difficult since chicken is an inexpensive, therefore common, ingredient in foods and treats. Another option would be to bake your own dental treats at home. You can find numerous recipes online using your preferred search engine. Search "homemade poultry free dental treat, cat".

You may try giving him commercial cats treats (there is a brand called Temptations that most cats seem to love). Greenies are treats that are actually good for their teeth and come in many flavors as well. Any type of meat you give Pelly needs to be lean and free of fat and cooked. You may try a small amount (like a pinky finger nail size) of beef or turkey. Remember this should only be in moderation. These foods could upset his tummy if he is sensitive or they are given in excess. I hope this helps.

There are a number of foods that include Montmorillonite Clay. The only medical concern for this ingredient is in animals that have silica bladder stones (which are rare). I don't see any problem with giving her another food as a treat unless she has any GI upset from it. I think some variety in a diet is a good thing. And both those companies are good quality. I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
