Grass is good for cats. It helps break down their food and therefore helps cats that vomit frequently due to a sensitive stomach or IBD (inflammatory bowel disease). However if Luna doesn't like to eat the grass, then unfortunately there aren't many options to get her to like it. As an alternative you can offer her an easily digestible diet once she is an adult cat (over the age of 1). I would recommend some good high quality brands such as Royal Canin Gastrointestinal high fiber, Limited ingredient Natural Balance or even Wellness no grain, if she develops any kind of stomach issues in the future.

Hi there, It sounds like your cat may just be having some GI upset on her current diet. I would recommend trying a diet that is for sensitive stomachs and see if that stops her from ingesting grass. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! Vomiting and inappetence can be caused by many conditions primarily gastrointestinal in nature such gastroenteritis and gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction or other conditions such as pancreatitis or kidney disease. I recommend that you have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Likely diagnostics to be performed include abdominal imaging and general bloodwork. Good luck and have a great day!

Green color could be from something Potchie ingested or a sign of infection. If the stool is loose in any way as well, then I would suggest doing a dewormer on kitty. You can find one at your local pet store. However, it is still a good idea to get Potchies stool checked by your vet since not all intestinal parasites are treated with just 1 type of dewormer. I hope that Potchie's stool returns to normal soon! Best of luck and take care.

No, it's not good for cats either. Grain free is a fad, there is no science behind it at all. Brands of food I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, and Iams. I feed my cats Iams. I hope this helps!
