Your best option is to work with a professional dog trainer. I suggest you try to find one in your area and seek their expertise. They would need to come and see his behavior in his home environment and then they can help train you to train Loki. Often behavior issues are from the owners giving the dog incorrect commands/signals. I don't know exactly where you are located but I suggest you contact this person and if he can't help you maybe he can refer you to someone in your area: ( https://mahmoudfady.com/ )

This link may help: https://www.petexpertise.com/dog-training-article-litter-box-training-for-dogs/ I do recommend to continue crate training though until Soshi is 1-2 years of age. I hope this helps.

Hi! It sure sounds like a behavioral problem, as she is trying to put her scent over the dog's scents. Spaying her might help, but she may now be in the habit of urinating/defecating on these items. There is a technique called "litter box retraining", where you confine her to a small room, with just her litter box and no other soft surfaces to use as litter. Once she consistency uses the box, you slowly give her more and more freedom. Hope this helps! And, cats usually prefer, non scented, clumping litter, without a litter box roof.

Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. This certainly could be behavioral as there are no symptoms you are describing that indicate a urinary problem. I would recommend placing multiple litter boxes throughout the house and trying pheremone therapy with a product called Feliway (collar and spray). I would start with this and see if these help with the problem. If not, then I would recommend having a veterinarian examine him and discuss other options for treatment. I hope this helps!

Inappropriate elimination can be due to either medical or behavioral problems. I always recommend having the cat examined by a vet to rule out any medical problems first, like GI disease, intestinal parasites or a urinary tract infection. If everything is normal on exam then you can consider this a behavioral issue. Cats will sometimes go outside the box if it is not cleaned frequently enough, if the litter or location of the box has been changed, or if there is something in the environment causing the cat stress (like the new housemate). You need to also consider pain/discomfort when using the box, either due to posturing or getting in/out of the box, especially if your cat is older. You may want to consider adding an extra litter box or two to your home, making the boxes more easily accessible. To help decrease your cat’s stress levels try adding pheromone diffusers like Feliway throughout the house. You may want to also consider talking to your vet about a urinary specific die
