Melanonin does not have sedating properties, so it will not help with anxiety. There are a number of natural supplements that may help with travel anxiety. You might consider VetriScience Composure. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/vetri-science-laboratories-composure-canine-bite-sized-chews Be sure to try it before you travel to see how Bree does with it. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

A pheromone collar, such as the Adaptil collar, may be of benefit. Rescue Remedy for Pets is a liquid that can be given before or during times of stress. Zuke's also makes a Calming chew that may be effective. Along with these supplements, gradual desensitization to negative stimuli should be attempted. Do this by exposing Archer to the stimulus for ever increasing periods of time. Use praise and reward as he progresses.

Hi there and thanks for your post on Boop by Petco! I would recommend calming supplements for your pets that have L-theanine in them which can have a calming effect. I would recommend a product called Composure from VetriScience which comes in a liquid and chewable form. I have the product linked below: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/vetri-science-laboratories-composure-canine-bite-sized-chews I hope this helps!

Hi there. You can try a natural calming supplement like Zylkene or Composure just before the trip, along with a DAP pheromone collar. If she gets extremely anxious and you think this might not be enough, I would suggest talking to your veterinarian about prescription anti-anxiety medication such as trazodone or clonazpam.
