Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! I don't think cats or dogs need probiotics if they are healthy. I do like them for gastro-intestinal issues. I like Purina Fortiflora, you can find it online. Cats really like it. If you want to use probiotics in a healthy cat it won't hurt them. I hope this helps!

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. It is possible that sweetie has a sensitivity to this particular probiotic. I would recommend using a probiotic such as Purina fortiflora. I have used this product many times and have not seen many cases that vomited from this probiotic. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! That is absolutely possible. I would stop this supplement to see if that improves. Hopefully, it does. However, if no improvement is noted, have him evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck!

It's fine to give your cat a probiotic without asking your vet. People often given supplements to their pets without consulting their vet. The only concerning ones are vitamins, as too many vitamins can cause toxicity.

I would try a probiotic first if he is otherwise eating and acting normally. If after a few days of starting the probiotic and there is no improvement then a vet exam would be warranted. Do not give any over the counter anti-diarrheals. Fortiflora would be the best probiotic to use, in my opinion. You can use any one made for cats (no human products).
