It's great that you want to be prepared for your new kitten! Aside from the obvious things for the kitten like food and water bowls, I'd recommend a tall scratching post and perch. Two litter boxes in different areas of the house are recommended. Canned kitten food (and canned adult cat food as Myla gets older) is preferred over dry food. Congratulations!! I would recommend making sure you get kitten appropriate toys, two litter boxes and kitten food. At 1 month of age I would recommend a wet kitten food. I would also recommend clumping litter for her. You can always get her other fun stuff like a soft bed for her. I would hold off on any treats until she gets used to her new home. Thank you for using Boop by Petco.

Hello and welcome to Boop by Petco. You can feed your cat canned tuna, chicken, other meats (just cook them as you would for yourself), potatoes, carrots, pumpkin/squash. There are other foods as well. Avoid toxic foods (grapes, onions, garlic, raisins, chocolate) and very fatty foods, but just give a bit of your food. Spicy food should be avoided as well. Best of luck with your kitty!

I don't think it has anything to do with the glass container. I would just to make sure clean the container very well and make sure it is dry. Then try using it again. If she is still having this issue but is eating from the food in bag, I wouldn't be too concerned. To make sure there is nothing medical going on I do recommend a check up from your vet.

Naughty Luna! She may still be hungry, or bored or she likes the cat food so much she is trying to get to it. You may want to spread out the food over 3 feeds during the day with one of those feeds in a feeding ball. That way she gets more exercise, and she can "graze". If she is ruining the container, you may want to hide it in a cupboard. If she is a bigger cat, then 7.5 lbs may be a bit light. Have your veterinarian assess her body score next time you take her for an exam.
