I would like to hav3 my 6 month old chihuahua micro chipped. My vet wants to charge me a lot of money. When Would I be able to have this done at the Rocky point Petco and how much does it cost?
Microchipping can be done at a Petco/Vetco. The cost is $15. You can contact the store directly for availability as it may only done during Vaccine Clinic events. You can get Carla microchipped there if not at the RP store. (Small world, I grew up in Rocky Point) :-)

My dog Dexter is a rescue and although I don’t know much about his medical history, I’ve noticed he might have some trouble with his skin. A vet on this site (thank you Dr. Elizabeth from the U.S.) recommended I start giving him omega 3 fatty acids.

Unfortunately, there are no veterinary clinics located in Petco stores in your area - yet. You can get vaccinations done at Vetco vaccination clinics, as well as heartworm and flea and tick prevention. Be sure you get Tars in before he is 6 months of age, and he won't need a heartworm test. He should also be dewormed against intestinal parasites. Vetco vaccine clinics don't charge an exam fee, but they will charge you for the vaccinations - here is a link to a map of Petco's in your area with Vetco clinics: chttps://www.vetcoclinics.com/services-and-clinics/clinic-locations-and-schedules/?zip=60606#maptop .
