Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Too funny! Finn is cute! I recommend purchasing the child safety door guards sold at baby stores or online. They prevent children from opening doors. I’m not sure how he manages but he is amazing! I hope this helps!

I have 5 cats and live in the same kind of environment. Our cats are also inside outside cats and I can tell you how we manage: 1) we feed twice a day wet food and call the cats for it. They come running for their food, we use the same call every time. This ensures that your cats come home when you call them. 2) Our cats are to be inside at night. ie we do not let them out after the evening feed. 3) they can go out if they wish, after the morning feed. Most predators hunt at dusk and dawn. So this minimizes the opportunity for contact of the cats with predators. If you can replace door handles with door knobs, the cats cannot open the doors anymore. We have been doing this for 12 years now, and have not lost a cat yet.

Oh I like that one! Sofia can look out and there are nice big air holes. I would slowly get her used to being in it. Start by leaving it open, and letting her explore it. Then put her in it for a few minutes once a day, and then slowly increasing the amount of time she is in it.

That set up looks perfect for Kitter. Thanks for including pictures. The reality is that cats sleep when we are at work, so my only concern at 14 years old is that he is able to comfortably jump up to the second level in order to access his bed. As long as he is able to make that jump easily, I think he will be very comfortable in that cage while he gets acclimated to his new home. Good luck! I hope that was helpful and answers your question. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.
