I am adopting a young cat, born late Summer, and he is from a litter from a cat who just stayed around our house. I am not sure what vaccines to get him since I don't have a lot of money. Can you help?
I suggest you take Shadow to one of the VETCO shot clinics inside of Petco stores. They can help you determine what vaccines he needs and they are low cost. Where can I go to get my kittens nails trimmed?
Any Petsmart or Petco groomer should be able to cut Brooklyn's nails. You can also go to your vet's office and they can actually show you how to trim her nails. I would just call prior to make sure they have time today, since they may not take walk in nail trims. Thank you for using Boop by Petco!

My 9 months old golden retriever is due for tick and fleas meds control , can I just buy it at any Petco store
You can buy those products at Petco for Beaux. I would advise to only purchase Frontline or Advantix. I would not get anything cheaper than that. Be aware that these are still your best over the counter products but fleas are developing immunity to them. In general, the oral products like Simparica and Bravecto are the best. I want to get a cat once I move but I've never had a cat before. What should I do first?
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I would recommend you move in first and get used to the new place before you get the cat. This will help bring everything inside before getting the cat as cats tend to get very stressed when there is a lot of movement or noise in their in new environments. Perhaps wait 1-2 months before you get a cat. Good luck and have a great day!

Time and the ability to be alone will be most important but here are some other suggestions for reducing stress in cats. -Feliway- calming cat pheromone- comes in many forms from pet stores or online. - Adding a litter box. Studies show that the ideal number of litter boxes for a home is #of cats +1 . This is regardless of how clean you keep his current litter box. - making sure he has plenty of “high space”. The safest (and therefore least anxiety-inducing) place for a cat is up. If you don’t already, get a cat tree or put up a shelf or two that he can go perch on. Best wishes to you and Mousewhisker!
