I do think our pets grieve, and this can last various lengths of time. All you can do is provide lots of love and affection and with time the grief will improve. New [toys](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/category/cat/cat-toys) and [treats](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/category/cat/cat-treats) can help. You can also try a [pheromone product](https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/comfort-zone-calming-diffuser-kit-for-cat) that can help cats during periods of adjustment. It is available in a room diffuser or a spray.

Hello. I do not know what might be available in Canada, but I highly recommend looking at this website for the Veterinary Oral Health Council. Click on the Accepted Products link at the top, then on accepted products for cats. It will list everything that is truly tested to provide results. Thanks for using Boop by Petco. https://www.vohc.org

Hello, & thank you for using Boop by Petco. First, thank you for adopting! Especially a senior cat. Taco is probably still having a tough time adapting to his new home. It can take a very long time to find a cats inner kitten when life has thrown them some problems. I would only encourage you to have patience. It can easily take 6 months to a year for an adult pet to feel truly comfortable in a new home, yet may always remain skittish around anything new or strange. I know, I am going through this with a dog I rescued 6 months ago. I would invest in a calming pheromone diffuser called Feliway. Place 1 in each room he spends, or you hope he spends, most of his time in. Find a treat he likes. My cats love the Temptation treats. Quiet toys, like feathers will bring out his inner lion, & think about a calming supplement to also help with his anxiety. Nutramax makes one called Solliquin. I found this helpful for my guy, & he still receives one daily. I don't know if he will b

I am sorry to hear about Tacoma! This sounds very frustrating but likely is just playful behavior that she enjoys. I would consider getting a drinking fountain (there are a variety of options out there, here is one example: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/petmate-brushed-nickel-reflection-pond-fresh-flow-pet-fountain?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&adpos=1o7&scid=scplp2312454&sc_intid=2312454&cm_mmc=PLA-GG-_-PTC_P_BND_PLA-GG_FY17_SCShopping-TM-_-Non+VIP-_-92700027187667238&kwid=p27187667238&device=c&gclid=Cj0KCQjwprbPBRCHARIsAF_7gDZb6i7jNAiD_JnordFjYzNc9esC_Zf8j5_rWnASopxsGeJuDUBT2IsaAnWfEALw_wcB) as they are difficult to tip over and many cats find them enjoyable. I would also consider some toys or a climbing tower for enrichment to try to provide Tacoma with something else to play with! You can try to find something that dispenses food or treats if that is more enticing, such as this one: https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/catit-senses-20-cat-digger-c

I haven't used Beaphar products before, but just looking at their ingredients, I would probably recommend using their treats for the actual drive because it has 3 different ingredients that may help with stress. If you think that needs to be combined with a longer lasting product, it looks like the collar has both Valerian and lavender, while the spot on only has Valerian. But if your cat is not used to wearing a collar, then she may not tolerate the collar well. I would contact the company to discuss the specifics of your move and ask them for a recommendation. As far as other products to consider to help stranger cats get along, I have a couple suggestions (although the Beaphar products may be very helpful). The goal is to decrease stress between the cats. One option for decreasing stress is to add a Feliway Diffuser ( https://www.feliway.com ) to your house. This is a calming pheromone that will work for a month. I have also had luck with Rescue Remedy ( http://www.bachflower
