We are currently residing in china. The vets here have two different ways of spaying, one the dog is kept for 4 days the other the dog goes home same day. I'm guessing they have different procedures... Which would be the right one?
I don't know much about how they spay dogs in China, but I can't say I have ever heard of a dog requiring a four day hospital stay after this procedure. Here in the USA, most dogs will either go home the same day or the day after the procedure. Although a spay is an intra-abdominal procedure were an organ is removed, they tend to wake up well and not particularly painful. Unless they are using some method in China that is far more involved, I would think that the same day method is more in line with realistic.

My dog usually does good pooping outside, but recently has been pooping in and out of the house. The last time that happened, she had inner parasites. We took a poop sample to the vet for testing, and it came out negitive. She also goes to a daycare
It's possible she is getting mixed signals from daycare but it's impossible to say for sure. I recommend crating her when you are not directly watching her and at night. This may help to remind her about her housebreaking. You may also want to walk her more often and keep her feeding on a schedule. Hi there and thanks for posting on Boop by Petco! My suggestion is to have a friend or neighbor stop by a at least a couple times during the day while you are gone just to make sure Soska is doing okay and has enough food and water, is let outside to potty, and to watch Soska in case she goes into labor a few days early and should any problems arise. If a friend, family member, or neighbor can't be available, I would hire a sitter to stop by 2-3 times during the day while you are traveling. I hope this helps and thanks again for your post!
