Thanks for using Boop by Petco! On the contrary, I actually think that what you are doing is the healthiest choice for Snowball. There are some dogs that, for no reason, eat EVERYTHING. (This has nothing to do with you as an owner by the way.) As an emergency room vet, I see "repeat offenders" all the time and unfortunately, it takes two or three emergency surgeries for the owners to figure out that they need to keep their pet in a "dog-proofed" area. But you are being VERY smart in my opinion in keeping her in a safe place when you cannot directly supervise her. This is exactly what I would recommend. As long as Snowball is a healthy weight, has play sessions with you once or twice a day, and gets walks or supervised time outside every day, I have absolutely no problem with this scenario.

Guinea pigs may be too large to play inside a ball, but you can still set up a safe activity area outside of their cage environment with the use of an X-pen or other foldable gates. You can then fill that area with toys to play with and chew on, hay to munch on, and other fun activities. This can help your piggies stretch and get a little exercise while still being safe and staying out of areas that may cause harm.

I recommend choosing the larger cage for sweet pea. Hamsters like to have separate bathroom / toilet areas well away from their bedding, so the one with the biggest base area is the best. Height of cage is less important. Also provide safe chewing sticks for her to gnaw her teeth on.

You should put a large amount of regular hay on the bottom of the cage, this needs to be changed at least once a week. You also need a drinking bottle to hang on the inside of the cage and a couple of feeding bowls for the food.

I would be careful using products designed for other pets on your rabbit as they can become very easily injured. If you'd like Lennon and Waffle to go outside or have more room to run around, an X-pen or other playpen type structure can help to keep them contained while allowing them to stretch their legs and get some fresh air. As for groooming, daily brushing of longer haired breeds can help keep the coat shiny, remove excess hair, and help prevent mats.
