Frankly, I do not care for Blue Buffalo products because they have a history of lying about their ingredients in their diets. Hills and Royal Canin are my preferred brands. There are other limited protein food brands out there, such as Natural Balance, which has formulas with a single protein source and a single carbohydrate source, making it less likely for your cat to develop an allergy.

You can get a regular dewormer that has Fenbendazole or Pyrantel Palmoate as the active ingredient to treat roundworms. So you want to treat once today and repeat in 2 weeks, because that is the length of the life cycle. Best of luck and take care of your pet Pickles.

I understand that it can be quite confusing to know what is good food versus bad food with all the conflicting information out there, but you definitely don't need to break the bank to feed good food. Also, there is A LOT misleading and outright false information amongst various people in the community, which may make you feel like you're feeding an inadequate or dangerous food. Purina One is a good food that I have fed to pets in the past. I have no problem with it and would only suggest that you ensure the food is labeled for Greyson's life stage. Below is a link that explains how to check the product for this information. There is no one food that I think is superior to any other and the reality is that they are all quite similar and provide adequate nutrients. https://www.petcoach.co/article/what-to-look-for-when-choosing-your-pet-s-food I hope that helps. If I missed something, please feel free to post the question again.

Yes, I personally like Royal Canin diets. For her age, just the regular Adult food is fine. ( https://www.royalcanin.com/ca/en_ca/cats/products/vet-products?specialneeds=0ad835cc921d4d0cb3ee61a8cc461fbe&feedingperiod=78.3&filter=643ceeb4-c516-477f-96db-fd7ee1b41ec0 ) She can eat either wet or dry; whichever she prefers and what you can afford. Canned food can be very expensive if that is all you are feeding. You can also feed a combination of both wet and dry if you'd like. Feed her according to the directions on the packaging. If you do both wet and dry you need to make sure you don't overfeed her. She is already at her maximum weight so if you notice weight gain you will need to back off on how much you are feeding.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! I think the Purina Pro Plan diets are very good and also affordable. Both dry and wet diets are equally good in general especially for younger cats. I prefer wet food in older cats when I am concerned about kidney disease just to increase the water content in the diet. Good luck and have a great day!
