Lilly looks like a young adult and if you want to feed her the same urinary diet as your other cat that is absolutely fine. Otherwise I like Hill's, Royal Canin, Iams and Purina brands of foods. If tony prefers canned royal canin rabbit and pea selected protein over the senior diets I've tried, are any of the foods you suggested in my last question similar to rabbit and pea.. or are there any senior diets out there that may be similar to it?
Rabbit based foods are a little more difficult to come across. The only rabbit based diets I have ever found have been novel protein diets formulated for adult cats, comparable to the Royal Canin variety he has been eating. It may be worth trying a few different flavors of canned senior foods to see if he finds any of them palatable. Worst case scenario, you can also find a dry senior diet (again, Hill's Science Diet, Purina ProPlan, Royal Canin, or Purina One) that he will tolerate and mix it with the rabbit and pea food regularly. I adopted a 5 month old female cat. Shewas very underfed so I put her on wet and dry Core . I had her spayed and all shots today. She has gained considerable weight. What food do you recommend for her?
Hi and thanks for your request. When it comes down to food, I usually suggest to try with a high quality commercial diet based on main brands as Hill's or Royal Canin. The reason is because these can provide a complete and balance nutritional support and there would not be any supplement to be given. If she likes Core (which is a good quality brand) then I would recommend to continue as you are doing as it seems she gained weight on this.

Yes, I personally like Royal Canin diets. For her age, just the regular Adult food is fine. Canned food can be very expensive if that is all you are feeding. You can also feed a combination of both wet and dry if you'd like. Feed her according to the directions on the packaging. If you do both wet and dry you need to make sure you don't overfeed her. She is already at her maximum weight so if you notice weight gain you will need to back off on how much you are feeding.
