Should I have my puppies bed in his crate?
Hi, thanks for using Boop by Petco! Beds are fine in crates as long as they are not chewed up and/or pieces aren’t swallowed that would cause an obstruction. If Jasper chews the bed then he shouldn’t have a bed in his crate. I hope this helps!

I want to line my dogs crate with a blanket or pad so he can be comfortable when he has to stay in it for a few hours, but he keeps chewing and ingesting blankets. Is there anything I can do to stop this behaviour so that he doesn't eat the blanket?
Unfortunately, this is one of these situations that really stinks. Yes, of course you want Moose to be comfortable, but you also don't want him to be in surgery the next day having blankets removed from his intestines! If it were my dog, I simply wouldn't risk it. I would maybe try to put something very thin in there, like a bed sheet, and see if he still tries to destroy that. Hi there. Rogue is adorable!! Thanks for the photos! I would suggest you try putting him in the crate with a REALLY good treat for small periods of time each day. Start with only 5 minutes and then each day increase by a minute or two. When I say a REALLY good treat I mean one like a Kong with stuff inside so that #1, it is a good experience for him to be inside the crate from the moment he gets in and #2, it will occupy him for some period of time (instead of a small bite of a treat he eats in one second). https://www.kongcompany.com/101/kong-101/ Hope this helps. A crate or crate training is never a bad idea. It can also serve as a safe place for Bella (as you have stated). It doesn't need to be huge either, just big enough for her to lay down, turn around and stand. Make sure there are no sharp edges and that the bars are close enough together so she cannot get her head between them.

All I can advise you to do without seeing photos is to soak the feet in dilute Betadine solution (1:10 dilution) for 10 minutes twice a day. Please post again with photos so we can better help you.
